I was asked to create a logo for a family friend who started a local bike group in Minneapolis. Although they aren't your typical bike group because their only destinations are breweries and festivals. So the logo needed to reference three things, beer, biking, and the city. After some sketching, I realized a bottle cap and a bike gear look very similar, so I built the logo from outside in. Then I added touches of Minnesota with the state borders at the bottom, the skyline at the top, and finished with the colors of the Wild hockey team.
