Ben Johnson
Hello! I am a graphic designer and video producer. I graduated from Iowa State University in 2018 with a degree in Graphic Design. After I left school I was hired by Gopher Digital Productions as a motion graphic intern. My job was to create content for the University of Minnesota Athletic Department. I then moved on to become a Media Specialist at Life Time where I still work to this day.
I am originally from Edina, Minnesota which is a suburb of Minneapolis about fifteen minutes from downtown. I grew up wanting to pursue a career in architecture but changed courses during the core program my first year at school. I wanted to pursue a career creating content in the sports and fitness market.
I have always had a passion for sports, I played hockey, golf, and soccer in high school, I probably would've played more sports if I had the time. I am also a die-hard fan of all the Minnesota sports teams, but sadly I have yet to witness a championship.
My goal is to obtain a position where I can utilize and strengthen my skills as a designer in a field that I am passionate and interested in. I believe this will have a positive outcome on the success of my future designs.
