Close-Up Experiment

Close-Up Experiment

During my trip abroad, I conducted my own personal experiment outside of the core curriculum. The experiment was to photograph different objects, sculptures, and paintings from up close, anywhere from two to ten inches away. The goal was to find a different meaning in the small details that mostly go unnoticed. I found what I was looking for in several different images, but obviously, some were more successful than others. But overall the experiment was a success and here are some of my favorite images.
